Vibration Analysis

Certified Maintenance Program

Have you ever had a motor or gearbox fail without warning only to realize that you don't have a replacement and all eyes are on you to get back up and running?  If so, our CMP program will be of great interest to you! Our SKF Certified Maintenance Program (CMP) is a predictive maintenance program that allows you to "predict" and repair problems before they occur. You may know this as Vibration Analysis or Condition Monitoring…it’s all the same thing.  This approach to maintaining your equipment will not only increase productivity, but also reduce your overall operation costs because you never have to worry about downtime!

Note: This sample is just a spectrum of one point on one machine. The actual Spectrum Report would contain a spectrum for each point on each machine we took readings on.

SKF Certified Maintenance Partner

Our CMP Technician is fully trained and certified by SKF.

We do not outsource the Data Collection and all Data Analysis is done directly by SKF’s staff of professional Vibration Analysis Engineers.

How it works:

Step 1Our technician will come out and give you a free estimate based on how many machines you would like to monitor, how many checkpoints each machine will require, and how often you want it done.
Step 2:  Once you decide t go forward with it, our technician, certified by SKF, will come out and take readings on the machines you chose.
Step 3:  He then sends the data electronically to SKF for professional analysis.
Step 4:  SKF will generate a report citing the current condition of the machine, potential problem areas, as well as give a recommended plan to correct the problems.
We can even provide you with spectrum reports if you prefer to visualize our findings.
Step 5:  Based on that information, Florida Bearings can help implement that plan, providing any motors, pumps, bearings, etc. that are in need of replacement.

It’s easy to justify the cost!

Reactive Maintenance costs
